Pine Cone Christmas Crafts for Kids
Do your students love collecting bits of natural materials when they’re out on the playground?
I know my son and my past students have always enjoyed doing so. I distinctly remember having pounds of acorns and piles of rocks (both in the classroom and at home). And let’s be honest – this has happened multiple times over the years!
So why not take the kids’ love of collecting things and combine it with some holiday crafting? Take your students on a nature hunt and collect some pine cones together.
Get the pine cones cleaned up, and then choose one of the following pine cone Christmas crafts for the kids to make!

Materials for Your Pine Cone Fun
Admittedly, I have a large stash of art and craft materials. I’m pretty sure that’s from all my years teaching!
So I’m a big fan of trying to use what I already have on-hand for art projects. But I’m also not averse to adding to my stash, either.
