What are the kiddos learning with scented water activities?
The children are engaging the majority of their senses with these activities – sight, touch, hearing, and smell. This gets their little bodies actively engaged in playing and learning.
They learn about volume, capacity, and measurement.
They learn and use vocabulary – pour, measure, transfer, evaporation, feels like, smells like, etc.
They learn about the states of matter – liquid, solid, and gas.
Do you have any favorite scented water activities for kids? I’m always up for new ideas to try at home and in the classroom!
